In 2005 St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in
Brooklin Ontario, commissioned Artist Sue Obata to design two
large rose windows. Working with Father Phil Jones, she created
deigns for " Eternal Life" and the "Annunciation"
based on the vision he had for these windows.
Easter 2008 marks the completion of 16 more stained glass windows
for St. Leos including a Celebration of the Seven Sacraments
in the six large nave windows.
" I dreamed of stained glass for our new church, but
had not imagined that we would have 18 windows in such a short
time. It is testament to the outstanding quality of the windows,
by Sue Obata and Sattler's Studio, that so many generous donors
came forward. The windows are beautiful, and I look forward
to working with Sue and the Sattlers again as we move towards
completion of the narthex and Chapel windows."
